EVO with metals reductant
SRS®-M
EVO with a proprietary abiotic reductant for mixed plumes of chlorinated solvents and metals.
SRS®-M adds a proprietary food-grade reductant to the standard 60% soybean oil SRS® base, available at two loadings: M10 (10 g/L) or M20 (20 g/L). The reductant reacts directly with oxidized metals, including hexavalent chromium, molybdenum, selenium and uranium, reducing them to less mobile, less toxic forms up to 95% faster than a carbon substrate alone.
The lactate fraction kick-starts reducing conditions quickly, while the 60% soybean oil maintains them for up to 36 months from a single application, addressing a mixed chlorinated-solvent and metals plume with one product. SRS®-M is manufactured with either a small (0.6 µm) or large (5 µm) droplet, depending on whether radius of influence or retention is the priority.
Benefits
- Reduces hexavalent chromium and other oxidized metals up to 95% faster than a carbon substrate alone
- Maintains reducing conditions for up to 36 months from a single application
- Available as M10 (10 g/L) or M20 (20 g/L) reductant loading
- Manufactured with a small or large droplet depending on distribution or retention needs
