QRS™-SL+ is the nutrient-enhanced version of QRS™-SL: the same 60% sodium lactate substrate, with a proprietary NutriPlus™ nutrient package (under 5%) and Vitamin B12 added. Statistical analysis of field and laboratory data has demonstrated that nutrients and Vitamin B12 support biodegradation of chlorinated solvents and increase dechlorination kinetics and donor efficiency with soluble substrates like lactate.
Like QRS™-SL, it arrives as a homogenous, injection-ready substrate and is 100% biobased, designated Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) by the FDA.
Benefits
- 60% sodium lactate with a proprietary NutriPlus™ nutrient package and Vitamin B12
- Nutrient and Vitamin B12 addition is statistically linked to increased dechlorination kinetics
- Low viscosity and high solubility enhance radius of influence per injection point
- Arrives homogenous and injection-ready, avoiding field-mixing labor
