Quick-release carbon plus zero-valent iron
QRS™-GLY-ZVI Products
Quick-release glycerin substrate combined with sulfidated zero-valent iron, in 4, 44 and 125 µm particle sizes, for fast-acting combined biotic and abiotic degradation.
QRS™-GLY-ZVI combines a quick-release glycerin substrate with zero-valent iron to deliver both immediate carbon availability and abiotic degradation. This dual-action approach rapidly establishes reducing conditions while enhancing contaminant breakdown, for sites that require immediate impact and shorter treatment timelines than a sustained-release EVO/ZVI formulation.
At a glance
Rapid startup
Quick-release glycerin establishes reducing conditions faster than EVO-based ZVI formulations.
Three particle sizes
Available at 4, 44 and 125 µm, each at 5%, 10% or 15% ZVI.
