Our Leaders
Dick Raymond | President
As the president and founder of Terra Systems, Dick brings more than 35 years of experience developing innovative remediation technologies for groundwater and soil contamination. Since founding the company in 1992, he has led Terra Systems’ growth through its expertise in research and development, treatability testing, in-house manufacturing, and technical support for environmental remediation projects.
A pioneer in the field of in-situ bioremediation, Dick helped demonstrate one of the first successful anaerobic bioremediation projects for TCE and led the development of Terra Systems’ patented emulsified vegetable oil technology, which earned the first U.S. patent for using emulsified vegetable oil substrates to support reductive dechlorination of chlorinated solvents (U.S. Patent No. 6,398,960).
Dr. Mike Lee | Vice President, Research & Development
Dr. Mike Lee leads research and development at Terra Systems, with more than 30 years of experience in bioremediation, chemical oxidation, natural attenuation, and treatability testing.
He is a co-holder of the patent for the use of emulsified soybean oil to support reductive dechlorination of chlorinated solvents and has conducted laboratory and field studies at more than 200 sites. He has also contributed to more than 100 technical publications and helped develop several Terra Systems technologies in support of client needs.
Charlie Lawrence | Director of Sales & Marketing
Charlie Lawrence leads sales and marketing at Terra Systems, bringing a combination of technical field experience and business-to-business sales expertise.
He holds a BS in Earth Sciences from Penn State University and has worked across a wide range of facilities, clients, and regulatory programs. His focus is helping customers identify the most cost-effective remediation technologies with the greatest potential for success.
Tim Pac, CPG, PG | Sr. Remediation Engineer & Professional Geologist
Tim Pac supports Terra Systems’ remediation technologies across screening, design, implementation, and optimization. His work includes persulfate oxidation, denitrification, surfactant-enhanced technologies, and biotic and abiotic treatment approaches.
He brings more than 40 years of remediation experience, including 35 years in consulting, and has supported projects and technology implementations around the world.
